2005: Started 33 games while appearing in 36...compiled 45 hits, including 10 doubles, finishing sixth on the team in batting average (.338)...also drove in 16 runs...recorded 70 put outs and a .973 fielding percentage. 2004: Made 30 starts and appeared in 36 games...hit .310 on the year with 39 hits in 126 plate appearances...drew a team-high 25 walks...scored 33 runs and drove in 22...hit six doubles and two triples...made 79 put outs and just one error for a fielding percentage of .988. 2003: Appeared in 34 games and hit .315, which was good enough for third on the team...drove in 17 runs and walked 22 times...also stole nine bases.

At Massapequa: Four-year letterwinner in baseball...his junior year,made all-division, and was voted most improved player...as a senior, the highly acclaimed team was ranked first in the state for three straight weeks....named all-conference, and outstanding player as an outfielder by School Sports Magazine.

Personal: Son of Jack and Vera Nicholson...born May 6, 1984....biggest sports thrill was driving in a run in a playoff game in 2002 during the bottom of the 9th inning to win the game.
