Honors and Awards: 3rd team All-Conference (2008).

2008: Started in 41 games at right field and made appearances in 45...had 13 multiple hit games...was second on the team in batting average hitting .291...picked up 44 hits in 151 at bats including four doubles, a triple and 12 RBI...had 70 put outs coupled with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2007: Appeared in 14 games...pitched a total of 18 innings, striking out 12 and posting a record of 0-1.

At St. John The Baptist: Four-year member of the varsity baseball team, two-year member of the varsity basketball team...two-time all-league selection...team MVP senior year...also participated in one year of winter track.

Personal: Son of James and Deborah Mongiello...double major in physical education and health...has two sisters, Laura and Anne Marie...transferred from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
