Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Matt Dispensa (College Point, N.Y.) was selected as the East Coast Conference (ECC) Runner of the Week, while freshmen Ryan Pezzulo (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) and Barbara Green captured Rookie of the Week honors. This is the second runner of the week award for Dispensa, and the third weekly accolade for both Pezzulo and Green.

Dispensa led the Panthers to a 13th place finish out of 26 competing schools with a 16th place finish out of 228 runners. He stopped the clock at 25:44, taking 34 seconds off of his previous personal best. Dispensa was the first Division II runner across the line.

Pezzulo cut 32 seconds off of his previous personal best over 8K, placing 40th out of 228 runners with a time of 26:22. His time helped Adelphi to a 13th place team finish.

Green helped the Panthers to a 15th place team finish as she crossed the line 108th in a 238 runner field. Green's time of 20:11 was a personal best by over a minute.

Adelphi returns to action on Sunday, October 21 when they travel to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York to compete in the East Coast Conference Championship meet.
