Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Matt Dispensa (College Point, N.Y.) was named East Coast Conference (ECC) Runner of the Week, while both Thomas Eickelberg (Leonia, NJ) and Barbara Green (Levittown, N.Y.) picked up Rookie of the Week awards. This is the first honor this season for both Dispensa and Eickelberg and the second for Green.

Dispensa led the Panthers to a 17th place finish in a field of 39 competing teams at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh. Dispensa was the first Panther across the line, placing 27th (of 270) with a time of 26:43.

Eickelberg was Adelphi's fourth runner at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh, helping secure 17th place for the Panthers. Eickelberg turned in a personal best time of 28:24 over the 8K course.

Green set a new personal best for the second week in a row when she stopped the clock at 25:26, placing 116th overall at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh. Green's finish helped Adelphi to a 19th place finish.

Adelphi returns to action on Saturday, October 13 at the Albany Invitational in Albany, New York.
