Harrison, N.Y. - Senior Jaime Julia-Perez (Amsterdam, N.Y.) and sophomore Ify Anene (Reynoldsburg, OH) have been named East Coast Conference (ECC) runners of the week as announced by the conference office. This is the first selection for Anene and the third consecutive honor for Perez.

Perez was the first ECC finisher at the Codfish Bowl, held in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 23. Perez covered the 8K course in a time of 25:49, placing him seventh overall and helping the men to a sixth place finish out of 18 teams.

Anene was the first ECC finisher on the women's side, covering the 5K course at the Codfish Bowl in 19:28. Anene's time placed her ninth overall and helped the women to a fifth place finish out of 20 teams.

The Panthers will return to action on Saturday, October 7 at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
