Harrison, N.Y. - Adelphi University senior Jaime Julia-Perez (Amsterdam, N.Y.) and junior Danielle Connor (Lake Grove, N.Y.) were named East Coast Conference (ECC) runners of the week as announced by the conference office on September 18. This is the second consecutive honor for both athletes.

Perez was the top ECC finisher at the NYU Invitational, held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York, stopping the clock at 27:10. Perez's time placed him sixth overall out of 293 finishers, helping the men to a fifth place team finish.

Connor crossed the line 19:58 to place eighth overall (out of 262 finishers) at the NYU Invitational. Connor was also the first conference runner across the line, helping the Panthers to a third place team finish.

Adelphi will return to action on Saturday, September 23 when they travel to Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the Codfish Bowl.
