Garden City, N.Y. - The New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) will host its first ever Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday, January 19, 2003, at the 168th Street Armory Track & Field Center. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. Admission is $5.00, and includes entry to the Track & Field Hall of Fame.

A total of seven NYCAC schools, including Adelphi University, C.W. Post, Molloy College, Mercy College, St. Thomas Aquinas, NYIT and the University of New Haven, are scheduled to compete.

Order of events:
9:00 a.m. - DMR (W-M)
9:30 a.m.- 60 hurdle trials (M-W)
9:45 a.m.- 60 dash trials (M-W) Eight advance to finals
10:00 a.m. - Mile (W-M)
10:25 a.m.- 400 (W-M)
10:50 a.m. - 60 hurdle finals (W-M)
10:55 a.m. - 60 dash finals (W-M)
11:00 a.m. - 800 (W-M)
11:20 a.m. - 200 (W-M)
11:45 a.m. - 5k (W-M)
12:30 p.m. - 4x400 (W-M)

Field events:
9:00 a.m.- Long Jump (M-W), Shot Put (M-W)
10:00 a.m. - Triple Jump (M-W)
10:25 a.m. - Pole Vault (M-W)
11:00 a.m. - High Jump (M-W)

The weight throw will take place on Saturday, January 18, on the campus of C.W. Post in Brookeville, N.Y.
