At Adelphi: Primarily a sprinter, she completed her first year of cross country in 2001…season points leader in track in 2002…pr'd in the 400 meters and intermediate hurdles in 2002…ran at Penn Relays in 2001 and 2002…2000-2002 All-Academic Team…also a member of the Adelphi women's lacrosse team her freshman year. Before Adelphi: Participated in five years varsity track and three years varsity Field Hockey at Connetquot High School. Personal: Daughter of Rose Mercie and Adisak Ratana…majoring in art/graphic design…admires Jackie Joyner Kersee…biggest sports thrill is winning relays because she is able to share a hard earned victory with her teammates. Goals: Win 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles at NYCAC's and CTC's in 2003…To break 60:00 barrier in the 400m and 65:00 in the 400m hurdles. |
