Oct. 9, 2009 Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University men's and women's swimming team were selected as College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Academic All-Americans, for their efforts last season. In order to be recognized as an Academic All-American, each team must have an overall GPA over 3.0. The men and women combined to have an overall GPA of 3.1 in 2008-09. This was the first time since 2006 that the program received this honor. The Panthers open up their season on Saturday, November 7 at Montclair State for a 1:00 pm start. |
