The Panthers return to action on January 18 at the USMMA.

Wayne, NJ - The Adelphi swim team traveled to Wayne, New Jersey on December 9 take on William Paterson. The men used the final two events to pull away with a 125-104 victory, while the women fell 163-73. With the win, the men keep an unblemished 4-0 record, while the women drop to 3-1.

The men captured seven individual first place finishes along with two relays. Matt Jordan (Valley Stream, N.Y.) picked up wins in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle events. Benjamin Dellagiovanna (Forest Hills, N.Y.), Brad Meaney (Staten Island, N.Y.), Timmy Mueller (Merrick, N.Y.), Brendan Berry (Bellerose, N.Y.), and Charlie Castillo (Wantagh, N.Y.) also picked up wins in their individual events.

Jerri Nix picked up the women's only victory on the night in the 1000-yard freestyle event. Jerri Lester (El Paso, TX) picked up second place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke, while Rachel Rice (Houston, TX) picked up two second place finishes in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke events. Amanda Knapp (Utica, N.Y.) also took home second place finishes in the 1000 and 500-yard freestyle events.

The Panthers return to action on January 18, 2007 when they travel to Kings Point, N.Y. to take on the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
