Swimming Competes at Rowan Cup

 
 

 
Swimming returns to action on December 9.

Glassboro, NJ - The Adelphi men and women's swim team traveled to Glassboro, New Jersey to compete in the Rowan Cup. Both teams swam well, combining for six first place finishes, including four individual crowns.

Matt Jordan (Valley Steam, N.Y.) picked up two first place finishes, winning both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle. Teammates Charlie Castillo (Wantagh, N.Y.) and Benjamin Dellagiovanna (Forest Hills, N.Y.) also placed first, Castillo's win came in the 100-yard breaststroke, while Dellagiovanna took home first in the 200-yard backstroke.

The men also took home first in two relays, winning the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Panthers return to action on December 9 when they travel to Wayne, New Jersey to take on William Paterson.
