Garden City, N.Y. - The men's and women's swim teams swept visiting Queens College to remain perfect at 2-0, the men posted a 52-41 win, while the women edged Queens, 49-46. Matt Jordan (Valley Stream, N.Y.) led the men with two individual victories, while Jerri Lester (El Paso, Texas) claimed two first place finishes for the women.

Jordan won the 50 yard freestyle in a time of 22.3 seconds and took home first in the 100 yard backstroke, stopping the clock at 1:00.3, eight seconds ahead of second place. As a team the men collected eight firsts and nine second place finishes.

Lester finished 17 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor to place first in the 200 yard individual medley (2:21.02) and won the 100 yard backstroke in a time of 1:04.11. As a team the women collected six first place finishes and five seconds.

Adelphi returns to action on Saturday, November 19 when they travel to Glassboro, New Jersey to compete at Rowan.
