SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Benjamin Dellagiovanna (Forest Hills, N.Y.) and Matthew Jordan (Valley Stream, N.Y.) each took home two wins in individual events to secure a 97-83 win over Bryant University. With the win, the men improve to a 5-1 record with two meets left on the schedule. The women fell just shy from a win as Bryant's depth helped in picking up a 104-101 win over the Panthers. The loss drops the women's record to 4-2.

The men won all the scored events entered, starting with the 400 yard medley relay. Dellagiovanna won both the 200 free and backstroke, while Jordan took home first in the 50 and 100 freestyle events. Also capturing first place finishes were Brendan Berry (Bellerose, N.Y.) in the 1000 freestyle, Andrew Meditz (Douglaston, N.Y.) in the 400 IM, and Timmy Mueller (Merrick, N.Y.) in the 200 fly.

The women came out strong, opening the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay and ended picking up a win in the 400 freestyle relay. Rachel Rice (Houston, N.Y.) picked up a win in the 200 freestyle as Caylee Squillante (Sayville, N.Y.) added a win in the 50 freestyle. Also picking up wins on the night was Kelly Mark (Wantagh, N.Y.) in the 200 fly and Jerri Lester (El Paso, TX) in the 200 backstroke.

The Panthers return to action on January 27, 2007 when they host the College of St. Rose Golden Knights.
