James Sanders is in his first year with the Panthers as an assistant coach. Sanders previously coached with the Flushing Flyers where he was an Age-Group coach and assisted with the open swimmers. He was also a coach with the 2007 Metropolitan Zone All-Star Team. James also volunteered with his alma mata, Archbishop Molloy for the 2006-2007 season, assisting with their men's and women's swim teams.

Sanders graduated from Catholic University in Washington D.C. in 2006 where he swam four years. He grew up swimming for the Flushing Flyers under head coach Rich Finkelstein. James currently resides in Belle Harbor, New York.
