Honors and Awards: All-American Honorable Mention (2009) 2008-2009: Won his first collegiate meet against Baruch (10/21) in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:04.09...placed second in the 200 yard freestyle (1:50.68) and third in the 200 yard butterfly (1:59.87) at the Bentley Invitational (10/26)...placed second in the 100 fly (54.08) and third in the 100 back (56.79) against Montclair/Seton Hall (11/6)... won both the 1000 free (10:50.32) and the 100 fly (54.39) against Pace University (11/8)... broke the school record of 53.76 set by Timmy Mueller with a time of 53.60 in the 100 fly against Queens (11/13)...won the 200 back with a time of 2:00.97 at the USMMA invite (11/22)...placed first in the 200 fly (2:29.59) while helping the 200 free relay team to a first place win (1:30.91) against William Paterson (12/13)... qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship meet in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:52.16 at METs (2/22)...placed 15th in the 200 yard backstroke event (1:56.27) at ECAC Championships (3/1)... finished the year with a NCAA Championship prelim time of 1:51.01, placed in the finals 16th with a time of 1:52.88... earned the first NCAA point for Adelphi in recent history. At St. Joseph: Swam for four years...placed sixth at Provincials his sophomore year...a junior national qualifier his junior year...missed the Canadian Olympic Trial time by .1 seconds in the 100 meter backstroke...an honor roll student.
