2008-2009: Began the season with a fifth place finish in the 100 back with a time of 1:34.99... Placed third in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:39.20) against Stevens Tech (1/31)...placed third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:50.65 against William Paterson (12/13)... ended the year with a time of 1:35.46 in the 100 yard breaststroke at the METs (2/20)

At St. John the Baptist: Participated in varsity swimming for four years, varsity track for three years and varsity lacrosse for two years...was named swim co-captain her senior year...graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Personal: Daughter of Terry and Barbara Hirten...has two younger siblings, Kimberly and Thomas...currently majoring in art education...part of the Outdoor and Recreation Club and a member of Sigma Delta Tau...enjoys surfing and creating art in spare time and plans on becoming an art teacher.
