2008-2009: Began his collegiate career helping the 400 medley relay team to a time of 3.45.48 against Ramapo (12/6)... won the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.37 against Ramapo (12/6)... won the 100 fly (57.55) and helped to the 200 medley team to a win (1:54.01) against Lehman (12/11)...placed first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:29.59 against William Paterson (12/13)...helped the Panthers to a third place finish in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:48.76 while placing second himself in the 100 free at the USMMA invite (1/15)... in the 200 medley relay, placed first against Bryant (1/17) while also placing first in the 100 breast (1:05.20)...placed second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.28 against Stevens Tech (1/31)... helped the 800 free relay team to the highest team finish with 11^th place (7:04.69) at the ECAC championships.

At Oceanside High School: Three sport athlete in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track and field...swam independently throughout high school.

Personal: Son of Caroline and Donald Gromling...has three siblings, Courtney, Kristen and Gregory...earned his Eagle Scout rank in BSA...majoring in physical education.
