2008-2009: Placed third against Montclair State and Seton Hall (11/6) in the 100 breast with a finishing time of 1:17.08... helped the 200 medley relay team to a time of 2:08.32 for a first place victory against Pace University (11/8) and a time of 2:05.20 against Queens (11/13)... helped the 400 medley team to a time of 4:31.14 against Ramapo (12/6)... claimed first against St. Rose (1/24) in the 200 breast (2:47.30)...ended the season placing first in the 100 breast in 1:17.12 against Stevens Tech (1/31).

2007-2008: Opened the season with a second place finish against Baruch (10/24) in the 50 free...recorded two thirds and a fourth place finish against Queens (10/30) in the 100 free, 100 breaststroke and the 1000 free respectfully... finished third at home against Bryant (1/19) in the 100 free...placed third in the 100 free in the final regular season duel against Stevens (2/2)...placed 11th on the 800 free relay and also swam on the 10th place 400 free relay at METs.

2006-2007: Finished 21st in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:44.77) and 23rd in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:14.05) at METS (2/20)

At St. John the Baptist: Four year member of swim team, captain her senior year...two year member of varsity softball.

Personal: Daughter of Brian and Jeanne Birkel...majoring in nursing.
