Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University freshman Jonathan Singer (Carson City, NV) has been named Northeast-10 (NE-10) Co-Freshman of The Week as announced by the conference office on September 29. This is the first honor for both Singer and the program this year.

Singer was the low man for Adelphi, shooting a nine over par score of 151 over two days at the Par 71 Long Island National in Riverhead, New York. His score put him in a tie for sixth overall and helped the Panthers to a sixth place overall finish.

Adelphi returns to action on Sunday, October 4 they travel to Crumpin-Fox Golf Club to compete in the Northeast-10 Championship meet.
