Garden City, N.Y. - Brant Kummerfeld was named to the Division II PING All-Region teams as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). PING All-Region teams are selected based on outstanding season play. The 10 All-Region teams consist of 10 players and are selected by GCAA all-region committees. Any player ranked in the top 50 on the final Golfstat individual ranking is automatically added to his all-region team.

Kummerfeld, the second ranked individual in the Northeast, had two second place finishes in 11 tournaments this year. The Adelphi junior also posted six top-five and eight top-ten finishes and has never finished outside the top-twenty in any event.

Kummerfeld closed out his season well, placing fourth overall at the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional with a three day total of 228, just three shots out of second.
