Suffern, N.Y. - The Adelphi University golf team wrapped up their fall schedule on Monday, October 12 at the Dominican College Charger Challenge, held at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, New York. The Panthers placed three golfers among the top-10, finishing second overall with a score of 605.

Wilmington came from five strokes back to capture the overall title, two shots ahead of Adelphi, with St. Thomas Aquinas placing third (616). Nyack and Pace rounded out the top five with two day totals of 630 and 635.

Pulkinen's two day total of 146 was just two shots out of first, which went to Wilmington's Daniel Ott. Matt Demeo shot a score of par 72 on the second day to finish in a tie for fourth (148), while Jonathan Singer concluded play tied for 10th at 155.

Josh Hamlett and Jason Doppelt round out Adelphi's top-five as they both appeared in the top-20. Hamlett shot rounds of 79 and 78 to produce a two day total of 157, good enough to put him in a tie for 15th , while Doppelt's 159 netted him 19th.

The Dominican College Charger Challenge concludes Adelphi's fall schedule, which saw them capture the school's first Northeast-10 Championship.
