Marcellus, N.Y. - MARCELLUS, N.Y. - Erik Swenson shot a one-under par 143 to lead Bentley to a 12-stroke victory at the ECAC Division II Golf Championship. The Falcons recorded a 303 on the final day to finish with a 617 and outlast second place Pace. Swenson was the only individual under par at the 6,683-yard Sunset Ridge Golf Course. He followed up a one-under par opening round 71 with an even par 72 on the final day. Swenson topped Adelphi"s Kevin Loftus by six strokes to capture medalist honors.
Pace"s Jason Waldon shot a 151 (75-76) for third place. He helped the Setters to a second place total of 629. St. Thomas Aquinas (634) finished third, followed by Assumption (643) and Adelphi (649). Two other Bentley golfers ranked among the top six finishers. Kurt Flionis carded a two-round 155 to finish in fifth and Brandon McDowell shot a 157 for sixth place.
Alex McEneny recorded a two-day 166 (85-81) to finish in a tie for 22nd. The Dolphins registered a 665 (332-333) for sixth place.
