The Adelphi golf team traveled to the Glade Springs Resort Golf Club in Beckley, West Virginia to compete in the first round of the East Regional. As the men closed out the first 18 holes on day one, they sit in third place with each of the five golfers in the top-50. Their score of 312 is just three strokes out of second place West Liberty State and eight out of first place Fayetteville State University

Led by senior Brant Kummerfeld, who sits tied for fifth in the individual standings with a score of 75 (+3), he is just three strokes out of first place golfer Sean Burke of Ohio valley University who is even. Fellow senior Oliver Hudesman sits one stroke behind his teammate at 76 (+4) and is tied for ninth overall. Matt Demeo and Stuart Pulkinen are separated by a single stroke, 80 (+8) and 81 (+9) respectively.
