Chester, PA - The Adelphi men's golf team shot a team score of 322, which was good enough for second place at the Widener University Golf invitational. The Panthers second place finish is their best showing this season. Adelphi was led by Steve Terrana (St. James, N.Y.), who shot a 79 to claim ninth place. Teammate John Seifert (Smithtown, N.Y.) was right behind Terrana and finished in 11th place with a round of 80. Kevin Loftus (Rocky Point, N.Y.), Adam Ochman (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and Joe Kinder (Smithtown, N.Y.) round out Adelphi's top five. The Panthers return to action Monday, April 12th when they take part in the NYCAC championships which will be held in Jackson, New Jersey at Pine Barrens. |
