Full Bracket

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee announced today the field of 38 teams for the 2016 Division II Men's Soccer Championship. With the announcement, the Adelphi University men's soccer program has been tabbed the number two seed of the East Region and host the First and Second Round.

The Brown and Gold (17-1-1) are set to host a matchup between third seed Le Moyne and sixth seed Southern New Hampshire on Thursday followed by facing the winner on Saturday on Motamed Field. LIU Post was awarded the top seed in the region, set to face the winner of Franklin Pierce and Merrimack, the fourth and fifth seeds in the bracket.

Two to six teams were selected from each of the eight regions.  Teams from the same region will be paired for first- and/or second-round competition, which will be conducted November 10-13 on campus sites.  Third-round/quarterfinals will be held on campus sites and completed by November 20.  The semifinals and final will be played December 1 and 3 at Children's Mercy Victory Field at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Missouri, hosted by Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and Kansas City Sports Commission.  In the 2015 championship, Pfeiffer became the first undefeated Division II men's soccer champion in 16 years, claiming the program's first national title with a 4-0 victory over Cal Poly Pomona.
