Garden City, NY - As students arrived on campus last Monday, September 1 for a new academic year, the Adelphi University men's basketball gave a helping hand with those moving in by being a part of the "Welcome Wagon."
Members of the men's basketball team and coaching staff volunteered their time to help students move into Waldo Hall for a little more than three hours. In addition to helping the students move in, the group took the time to connect with a new coaching staff for the upcoming season.
"Adelphi Men's Basketball is excited to interact with the student body," said head coach
David Duke. "We wanted to help the new students and their families feel at home and facilitate their move-in process. The 'Welcome Wagon' was a great experience for our program."
