Garden City, N.Y. - Beginning on January 1st, fans of Adelphi University Athletics have been given greater access to their favorite Panther teams thanks to a partnership with TD Bank and the re-launch of AUPanthers.tv, as announced by Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation
Danny McCabe. Through a new partnership with TD Bank and a continued relationship with Pack Network, the platform has been upgraded to full HD and will be offered free of charge to all viewers.
An online digital platform, AUPanthers.tv will feature over 100 hours of live audio and high-definition video broadcasts this year. Additionally, on-demand video, highlight packages, interviews with coaches and student-athletes, along with original content will be adding to the platform in the near future.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer our alumni and fans the opportunity to watch Panther Athletics online free-of-charge and in HD," McCabe stated. Â "This would not have been possible without the support of our long-time partner TD Bank."
AUPanthers.com broadcasts will be available on mobile devices, thanks to a partnership with TD Bank, America's most convenient bank, and will soon incorporate Twitter feeds, Facebook posts and Instagram photo sharing to provide a rich social experience for viewers. As part of the sponsorship agreement with TD Bank, viewers of the webcasts and those who follow Adelphi Athletics via social media will be able to win both Adelphi and TD Bank prize packs, courtesy of a new social media campaign.
Adelphi first partnered with Pack Network in 2008, a Boston-based company specializing in video production, to launch AUPanthers.tv. Adelphi currently offers live coverage of eight sports during the academic year.
