Somerset, N.J. - Adelphi University bowling sophomore Erica Schneider was named to the 2012-13 Northeast Conference Winter Commissioner's Honor Roll and led a pack of eight Panthers who made the Winter Academic Honor Roll, it was announced by the conference last week.

Scheider landed on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which is reserved for student-athletes who attain a grade point average of at least 3.75. Schneider is joined by Michele Fitzpatrick, Jessica Lutz, Samantha Morlack, Colleen O'Neill, Kathryn Rivera, Nicole Scher and Holly Zink on the Winter Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes who maintain a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

The slew of academic accolades maintains the Adelphi bowling tradition of excellence in the classroom, as last year's team placed nine bowlers on the Winter Academic Honor Roll.
