Garden City, N.Y. - During halftime of the women's basketball game against the College of Saint Rose on November 26, members of the athletic department and Enterprise Holdings presented checks to the New York State Breast Cancer Hotline.
For the seventh straight year, the Adelphi University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics helped raise awareness of breast cancer this past October with the Jennifer Montgomery Breast Cancer Awareness month event. During the month long event, raffle tickets and "Think Pink" merchandise was sold to raise money and awareness for the cause.
This year the department gave a check for $2,850 and Enterprise Holdings presented them with $3,500. In total the effort raised $6,350, making the total to date over $33,500.
The complete list of raffle prize winners can be found here, RAFFLE PRIZE LIST.
