Garden City, N.Y. -
The Adelphi University baseball team hosted the Stony Brook Seawolves, to raise money for the ALS Association on Saturday, October 19 on William J. Bonomo field. Approximately $1800 was raised and donated to the organization that aims to fight Lou Gehrig's Disease.

"I would like to thank Coach Senk, Stonybrook University baseball and all the Adelphi families, friends and alumni who came out and supported our team and this charity event," Head Coach Dom Scala Said. "It was just a perfect day to play baseball for such a great cause and I hope that we can do it again next year".

This game concluded the fall season for the Brown and Gold, who are now preparing for their 2014 schedule. To keep up with all things Adelphi visit www.aupanthers.com or follow us on Twitter, @AUPanthers.
