Garden City, N.Y. - The 2012 Capital One Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Erica Devito was one of five women's lacrosse players to be named among the 12 district award winners.
 
This is the second time Devito has been honored by CoSIDA as she was named a Third-Team All-District honoree back in 2010. This year, the Shoreham, N.Y. native helped the Panthers to their third straight Northeast-10 Tournament Title and made their fifth straight NCAA appearance. Devito led the team in goals (63), assists (39) and points (102) and was a Northeast-10 First-Team All-Conference selection.
 
The Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
