Mike Gavagan enters his eighth year as Head Athletic Trainer. He began working at Adelphi University in 2001 as a graduate assistant. He graduated from Hofstra University with a BS degree in athletic training. Mike obtained his Master's degree in health Education in May 2003. He is also an adjunct professor in the Physical Education Department teaching Basic and Advanced Athletic Training courses.

Along with teaching, he works with women's soccer in the fall, women's basketball in the winter and baseball in the spring.
