Each month, the Adelphi University Cheer squad shall elect a member whom they feel exemplify the qualities deemed necessary to hold the title "Cheerleader of the Month". This person is chosen on the basis of dedication, commitment and contribution to the cheerleading team, for without this individual, the team would not be the same. Other contributing factors are: attendance, performance/skill, attitude, appearance and personality. This is the first time in the history of Adelphi University Cheerleading that this program has been put in effect. It is an honor to be named amoung your teammates and I anticipate that each squad member duing his or her time in season will be able to attaing this title.
