Garden City, N.Y. - Juniors Sky Khaleel (Queens, N.Y.) and Serita Lee (Freeport, N.Y.) have been named Adelphi's Athletes of The Week for the week of December 10, 2007.

Lee helped the Panthers to a 2-0 record on the week, averaging 14.5 points, 11 rebounds and four steals. Lee posted a double-double in Adelphi's 67-56 win over Pace, scoring 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, she also collected three steals. On the week Lee shot 50 percent from the field, making nine of 18 field goal attempts.

Adelphi returns to action on Saturday, December 15 when they host Caldwell at 5:30 pm in Woodruff Hall.

Khaleel averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds in two games last week to help the Panthers to a 1-1 record on the week. Khaleel had his best game on December 8 against New Haven, pulling down 12 rebounds and scoring 13 points in the 58-48 loss. He also picked up two assists, one steal and one block on the week

Adelphi returns to action on Saturday, December 15 when they host Caldwell at 3:00 pm in Woodruff Hall.
