Garden City, N.Y. - Juniors Eric Martin (Laurelton, N.Y.) and Carlyshia Hurdle (Brentwood, N.Y.) have been named Adelphi's Athletes of The Week for the week of November 30, 2004.

Martin helped the Panthers open their conference schedule with a 15 point and eight rebound performance against Mercy on November 23rd. Martin's career-high 15 points paced Adelphi to a 60-52 win, which also evened their overall record at 2-2.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, December 1st when they host conference foe Dowling College at 5:30 pm in Woodruff Hall.

Hurdle collected her third double-double of the season in Adelphi's 87-60 conference win over host Mercy. Hurdle led all scorers with a career-high 26 points and grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds. The win is Adelphi's third in a row and second conference win of the season.

Adelphi will play host to visiting Dowling College at 7:30 pm on December 1st in Woodruff Hall.
