Garden City, N.Y. - At the annual Panther Club meeting held at Homecoming on October 4, Dr. Sue Tendy'70 was named Vice President of the Panther Club. Tendy has been an avid supporter of the Panther Club, and a member of the Hall of Fame sub-committee that helped generate interest in bringing back many former Hall of Fame inductees to the successful pre-hall of Fame dinner reunion.

She has been actively involved with the board since her induction into the Adelphi Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006. "I am so proud of the forward vision and many accomplishments of our athletic program, both on and off the field. I look forward to the opportunity to remain involved with Adelphi University Atletics, " Tendy stated.

Tendy is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Education at the United States Military Academy-West Point. N.Y.
