In 2003, the Student Athelete Advisory Committee in conjuction with Delta Delta Delta Sorority co-sponsored the annual Bachelor Auction, one of the most successful events on campus. The Bachelor Auction raised money for the St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research Hospital by selling the male population of the Adelphi community to the highest bidder.

The event not only raised over $2,000 for the hospital, but brought together two different organizations of different backgrounds together for a good cause. This function was not only a great way to work together to raise money for charity, but to also help unite both Greek life and athletics at Adelphi.
