Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University sophomore Andrew Coelho (Wantagh, N.Y.) and junior Charlotte Davies (Sanibel, FL) have been named Adelphi Athletes of The Week for the week of November 8, 2010.

Coelho led the Panthers to a seventh place finish at the Northeast-10 Championships as he placed fifth overall in a time of 24:57.7. It was Coelho's first time dipping under the 25 minute mark for 8K and earned him first-team All-Northeast-10 honors.

Next up, the Panthers gear up for the NCAA DII East Regional which will take place on Sunday, November 21 at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts.

Davies claimed the lone win for the women's swim team in their loss to Montclair State as she out distanced the field in the 500 yard freestyle. She also claimed second in the 1000 yard freestyle.

The Panthers are back in action on November 20 as they compete at the Kings Point Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
