Garden City, N.Y. - Sophomore Andrew Coelho (Wantagh, N.Y.) and freshman Elizabeth Eickelberg (Leonia, NJ) have been named Adelphi University Athletes of The Week for the week of October, 25 2010.

Coelho took home top honors at the 7th Annual ESU Nevin Invitational, running the 5K course in a record-setting time of 15:07.50. The men placed third overall behind Coelho's strong finish and he was named Northeast-10 Runner of The Week.

Eickelberg was Adelphi's top female runner at the ESU Nevin Invitational, placing seventh overall in a personal best time of 19:43.00. Her finish helped guide the women to a second place overall finish and she was named Northeast-10 Freshman of The Week.

The Panthers take a week off to rest up for the NE10 Championships scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 7, at Stonehill College.
