Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University hosted the Eighth Annual NYCAC Brunch on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Alumni House.

The event drew NYCAC President Edward Manetta spoke about various NCAA initiatives which would impact Division II institutions. Adelphi SAAC advisor, Denee Rivera, discussed the Division II Leadership Action Academy which was held last month in Boston, Mass. Dowling College Director of Athletic, Rick Cole, Jr., helped lead group discussions about the conference and its role.

After a brief intermission the schools broke up into groups to deal with issues relevant to the NYCAC, upcoming events and goals for the year.
