Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Ron Forman (Massapequa, N.Y.) and sophomore Ify Anene (Reynoldsburg, OH) have been named Adelphi's Athletes of The Week for the week of September 25, 2006.

Forman registered three goals in two contests for Adelphi last week, helping the Panthers extend their current win-streak to four games. Forman scored the game winner in Adelphi's 1-0 win over Stony Brook on September 19th and then came back to notch two goals in the Panthers 4-1 conference win over Howard on September 23rd.

For his efforts Forman was named ASC Player of The Week.

Adelphi returns to action on Saturday, September 30 when they play host to ASC opponent Hartwick at noon.

Anene was the first ECC finisher on the women's side, covering the 5K course at the Codfish Bowl in 19:28. Anene's time placed her ninth overall and helped the women to a fifth place finish out of 20 teams. For her efforts Anene was named ECC Runner of The Week.

The Panthers will return to action on Saturday, October 7 at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
