Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi University sophomore's Andrew Coelho (Wantagh, N.Y.) and Alexandra Kahen (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) have been named Adelphi University's Athletes of The Week for the week of September 13, 2010.

Coelho's second place finish at the inaugural Hofstra University Brick Stone Invitational led the Panthers to a first place team finish. Coelho finished the race in a time of 26:02 for the 8K distance.

Cross-Country returns to the trails on Saturday, September 25 when they travel to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the Codfish Bowl.

Kahen led the team at the Dragon Classic with 89 digs over four matches, helping the Panthers to a 1-3 record. She averaged 6.3 digs per set and chipped in six service aces and had a career-high 30 digs in a four set win over Sioux Falls.

Volleyball returns to action on Tuesday, September 14 when the Panthers take the floor against NYIT at 7:00 pm.
