Garden City, N.Y. -
Adelphi University and Pack Network have partnered to offer an industry-leading streaming video solution as announced today by Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Robert E. Hartwell. The subscription-based live web streaming of home athletic events will begin this Saturday, September 12 as the women's soccer team hosts Saint Michael's College, at 12:00 p.m.
"I am very excited that we are offering live streaming," said Hartwell. "I think it's a positive step for the university, our fans and our parents. It gets the Adelphi name out to our new conference members and serves as a means of telling people about who we are as an institution."
Live event productions that include multiple cameras, on-screen scoreboard and graphics will highlight the new service. In addition to women's soccer, this season the site will feature field hockey, men's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse.
The Panthers All-Access Pass, available for $49.95, gives fans the opportunity to watch not only all the live coverage of various Adelphi home athletic events, but also premium content not available to view without the All-Access Pass. The premium content includes an in-depth archive section of all video available. Single-event subscriptions for all live events will be available throughout the season for $5.95.
