Adelphi Athletics is unveiling its Panther Pride program new for 2009-2010! The Panther Price was designed to help band our best fans together - our students. To encourage further "fandom" by our students we have put together the Panther Pride Perks program, where students are given AU "stuff" just by coming out to the games and supporting the teams. The more events you attend, the better the prizes!

Additionally, Panther Pride members will have special opportunities, such as first chance at all in-game promotional competitions (wear your Panther Pride t-shirt to get noticed), the ability to purchase Adelphi gear at a 5% discount, as well as unique opportunities not available to all student fans. The most important part of being a Panther Pride member is to get to the game, cheer, and have a good time.

Become a Card Carrying Member
• In order to earn points, a student must be a member of Panther Pride (Panther Pride has a $5 membership fee). When a student signs up for the Panther Pride, they will receive their Panther Pride t-shirt and Rewards Card. Students may sign up for Panther Pride at advertised athletic events.
• The first Rewards card is white. Once that card is filled, the member will turn in the card, receive their reward and get the next level card. This will continue with every ten events attended.

Earning Points
• Points are earned by attending field hockey, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse competitions. Each competition is worth one point. During Winter break, competitions are worth two points.
• There will be one game for all other sports in which students have the opportunity to receive two bonus points. Games will be announced at the beginning of each season (fall, winter, and spring).
• If a student loses their rewards card, they will receive a new card, but will not receive credit for any stamps on the lost card. If a student forgets their card, they will receive a new card at their current level and the cards can be combined at a future date.
• Points values are subject to change based on the date of the event and promotions surrounding the event.

Reward Rules
•You must present your card at each game you attend to be counted. If you forget your card, another will be issued and you may have them combined at a future event. Each time you fill a card, you will receive your gear and a new card of a new color indicating your level in the game.
•You must be in the gates with your card stamped no later than one half hour after the event has begun.
•Rewards cards are non-transferable.
•The Top 10 point leaders will be displayed on the Adelphi Athletics website. Updates for bonus games and additional promotions will also be posted on this website.
• Rewards Cards must be filled out with your name and e-mail to be counted.

Any card not completed will not be counted towards your point total. You will receive an e-mail update each time your status has changed.

Points Rewards
Prize distribution will take place at all sporting events where points are accumulated. Here's what you can get as a member:

0 points: Panther Pride T-Shirt and Rewards Card (this is just for signing up)
10 points: Official Adelphi Athletics Water Bottle
20 points: Official Adelphi Athletics Drawstring Bag
30 points: Official Adelphi Athletics Hat
40 points: Garden City Pub $10 coupon
50 points: Official Adelphi Ahletics Car Pack (include license plate cover, keychain, decal)
60 points: Official Adelphi Athletics Umbrella
70+ points: Official Adelphi Athletics hoodie sweatshirt

The Top Ten Point Earners will receive special recognition on the athletic website. The Top Three Points Earner will be invited and recognized at the End of Year Athletic Banquet dinner in May, 2010.
