The second annual Janet L. Ficke Golf Classic was a huge success, bringing in $8,800 for women's athletics at Adelphi University. The outing, held at Harbor Links Golf Course, attracted 80 golfers and a total of 115 to the dinner.

After brunch, the golfers played a round of golf and returned to the clubhouse for the cocktail hour and dinner. A special presentation in honor of 25 Years of Women's Soccer was shown. A total of 34 raffle prizes were given away, including mountain bikes and a Weber grill. Adephi soccer alumnus Maureen Roach was the big winner in the 50/50 raffle, taking home over $1500.
