Foursomes for the 5th Annual Janet L. Ficke Golf Classic are on sale now. This yearly event which raises money for women's sports at Adelphi University will take place at Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington, New York on Monday, July 20, 2009.

To date, the Ficke Golf Classic has helped raised over $50,000 for women's athletics. This year alone the women's teams have captured a DII National Championship (women's lacrosse), made NCAA appearances (cross-country, lacrosse, volleyball) and earned conference Player/Runner of the Year recognition (Ify Anene-cross-country; Rachel Ray-women's lacrosse; Samantha Johnston-softball). There have been numerous all-conference and all-region accolades in addition to academic honors.

Tickets are $250 for each golfer, or $1,000 for a foursome. This includes a pre-registration lunch, 18-holes of golf, green and golf cart fees, a golf gift bag, refreshments on the course and a Champions Dinner.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start to follow at 12:30 p.m. The cocktail reception and dinner begin at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are available for only $100.
