Adelphi University celebrated the student-athletes and their accomplishments at the 2005 Student-Athletes Award Banquet. Awards included, academic,team MVP, Male/Female Class Awards and overall Male and Female Athlete of the Year.

Junior Carlyshia Hurdle and Russ Bestenheimer served as MC's for the evening. Director of Athletics, Robert E. Hartwell, addresses the 270 student-athletes, coaches and staff. Tal Sheinfeld is presented with the Martin Head Award by Provost Marcia Welsh.
