The Cheer Team not only supports the Adelphi basketball teams at home, but also travel to road games as well. In addition, they often compete in various cheer competitions.

The team also made the trip to Merrimack to cheer on the women's team in the NCAA Tournament. The team, under the direction of Kim Keller, traveled to the New England Cheer and Dance Competition. The competition took place at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

The team took home top honors in their division which included such schools as Middlebury College (Vermont) and Anna Maria College(Massachusetts)
