Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Mike Myers (Wantagh, N.Y.) and freshman Christine Robinson have been named Adelphi's Athletes of The Week for the week of March 26, 2007.

Myers pitched a three-hit, complete game in the second game of a double header against Mercy College on Saturday, March 24. In seven innings of work, Myers struck out seven, allowing just three hits and giving up just three walks to collect the 7-1 win.

The win raises Myers record to 2-0 on the season with a 2.95 earned run average. In 21.1 innings pitched this season, he has only allowed 14 hits while striking out 22 batters. For his efforts Myers was named ECC Pitcher of The Week.

Adelphi's returns to action on Wednesday, March 28 when they host Queens College at 3:30 pm.

Robinson was a perfect 3-0 with a 0.00 earned run average last week. In 13.1 innings pitched, Robinson faced 49 batters and gave up just 10 hits. During her time on the mound she allowed no runs, no walks and struck out 17.

For her efforts Robinson was named ECC Pitcher of The Week.

Adelphi returns to action on Tuesday, March 27 when they travel to Brookville, New York for a 2:30 pm match-up with C.W. Post.
