The Fifth Annual Black History Month Celebration took place on Saturday, February 24, in the University Center. This was the most successful event to date, bringing back over 200 students, alumni, staff and friends to celebrate athletes of color at Adelphi.

The Multicultural Alumni Chapter honored Gregory Johnson and Dr. N. Gerry House was the keynote speaker. The Salvation Army of Hempstead, New York and its Double Dutch team peformed. The raffle prizes raised $412, with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army.
